With experience in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation, owner Sara Someck has been involved in the equine industry for most of her life. Over the years, she has prioritized a meticulous standard of care and unwavering commitment to the well-being of her horses. After her graduation from the University of San Diego, the Someck family set out to find a property where they could provide the utmost attention for every horse, from layups to retirement and everything in between. After lots of searching, they fortuitously discovered the perfect place to do so - and Citadel Sport Horses was established.

Conveniently located in North San Diego County, Citadel Sport Horses is in close proximity to top competition venues, extensive trail networks, and expert veterinarians. Our team is very passionate about optimizing the physical, emotional, and physiological health of equine athletes, and our one-of-a-kind facility offers a range of amenities to stimulate and strengthen horses of all levels.
